What we do with your recordings
Last updated 13 August 2026
What we collect when you build a quote
- The recording, photos and files you add. A voice note, a walkthrough video, jobsite photos, a supplier PDF, an email you pasted in.
- What comes out of them. The transcript of what you said, the scope it worked out, and the priced line items.
- Your rate book. The prices you set or correct. These are your commercial numbers and they are only ever used to price your quotes.
- Your customer's details. The name, address, email or phone you put on a quote so it can be sent and signed.
Who else sees it
Building a quote means sending the transcript, images and text to AI providers — OpenAI for turning speech into text, Anthropic for working out the scope and pricing it. Only what is needed for that request goes, and they are contractually barred from training on it.
Sending a quote means it goes to whatever address you put on it. If you have connected Gmail or Outlook it goes from your own account; if you have not, it goes through our sending provider under your company name with replies pointed back at you.
Nobody else. Your quotes are not sold, not shared with other contractors, not used for advertising, and not pooled into anything.
If you are the homeowner signing a quote
You do not need an account and we do not create one for you. When you tap Approve and sign, the document records your typed name, the signature you drew, the date and time, your IP address and your browser. That is what makes it a record of an agreement rather than a picture of one.
A copy of the signed proposal is emailed to you and to the contractor at the same time, so you both hold the identical document. If you have questions about a quote you were sent, ask the contractor who sent it — it is their document and their customer relationship. If you want to know what we hold about you, email info@osqr.ai.
What we never do
- Sell your data, or share it with anyone for advertising.
- Train an AI model on your recordings, your quotes or your prices — ours or anyone else’s.
- Show your rates to another contractor. Your rate book is yours alone.
- Listen in. Nothing records unless you press record.
How it is held, stated plainly
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and scoped to your account.
What that does not mean: it is not held in a form we are unable to read. If you email support about a quote, a human at Osqr Labs can open that quote to help you — that is how support works, and any company telling you otherwise about a product like this one is telling you something that is not true.
Getting your data out, or deleted
Every quote you build can be downloaded as a PDF at any time, including after you cancel. To have your account and its contents deleted, email info@osqr.ai from the address on the account.
One caveat worth being straight about: a signed proposal already sent to your customer is in their inbox, and deleting your account does not reach into it.
